Comment:
For the hell of it. This was made so quickly that I have zero idea where I'll stand on its quality a week from now. Thanks to Shawn Porter for tracks 5 and 12, and thanks to p the swede for track 11. Title from S. Morrissey.Feedback:
Really nice range. Happy New Year!
I started working on a mix today that might have that Wall of Voodoo song on it and the Lulu song is one of my all time faves.
With the Soft Boys and MBV faves I'd imagine this holding up fairly well.
Nice.
I should to mixes like these too, diggin it
Some nice stuff. really surprised to see Wall of Voodoo here. Love that XTC track...that's one of my favorite songs of their to play on guitar. (Andy Partridge is a highly underrated guitarist, IMHO.)
Damn, sorry about all those typos.
Looks pretty timeless to me. Enjoy your selections from MBV, XTC, SP and L. Who the heck are the Pink Mountaintops?!
this is great! someone in Pittsburgh remembers Scritti Politti! much good stuff.
Love the hell of it mixes and the hell with quality.
Lovely mix. You picked one of my favourite B&S songs. The video for it is really good if you haven't seen it. It features a lot of e6 luminaries.
Yup, I like this one a lot. I also now have The Queen Is Dead going through my head, which is no bad thing. Nice to see the Soft Boys there, and Scritti Politti! Magic.
Sorry I missed this earlier. (been in a serious post-holiday funk of late) Yr welcome for the tracks, of course. This looks really great of course.
Love Belle and Sebastian, My Bloody Valentine,The Beatles & Lulu. And that Lightning Bolt song is greatest song in a longtime!! (i dont know the other stuff) but looks good again! :)
Just stumbled across this mix whilst searching for MBV tracks on previous mixes. This one caught my eye due to the great title and i must say it's all good. What a fab closing track..
So how is it holding up???
