Comment:

The Public Square
A slash of angular blacks
Like a fractured edifice
That was buttressed by blue slants
In a coma of the moon.
A slash and the edifice fell,
Pylon and pier fell down.
A mountain-blue cloud arose
Like a thing in which they fell,
Fell slowly as when at night
A languid janitor bears
His lantern through colonnades
And the architecture swoons.
It turned cold and silent. Then
The square began to clear.
The bijou of Atlas, the moon,
Was last with its porcelain leer.
-- Wallace Stevens

I'm speechless.

Ahem...the bar has been raised.

Can't pretend to be intimately familiar with a number of the tracks but the transitions, utilization of outer limit artists and classical compositions...geez, this is inspiring.

Sorry to gush, so much.

What a fantastic mix; I would love to hear this. Like musicgnome, I don't know everything on here (though it makes me happy to say that I'm familiar with more than usual :) ) but the Mozart and Freddie Hubbard are standouts for me. Great.

Yes, very Classic Curtis... just happened to be listening to the other Circle recently, the one with Anthony Braxton in it.

Only familiar with a few of the artists on here, but that ending stretch from van der graaf generator to the end looks absolutely stunning. Always good to see you around, Curtis.

well, I've just spent an hour or so investigating and I have to say that I am totally intrigued. Well up to the usual standard of an international man of mystery.
