i usually listen to this in the middle of my very boring night shift work or when im just sitting infront of the pc late at night browsing the net. when im throwing together playlists i try and forget about themes etc but try and just stick to songs that have their own little personal memory attached to them even if their memory is only hearing it for the first time. also sticking to one genre is something i would never attempt as the boredom would become too much. most people will know most of these songs except maybe the bloods and crips song which is amazing to me simply for that beat, you can pretty much ignore the rapping and honestly that damien rice song goes downhill once he starts singing and is purely worth listening to for lisa hannigans beautiful singing at the start. the david bowie song at the end always hits me in the same way everytime i play the damn thing.
