Comment:

My boss, Molly Moon, just turned 27! Since we work in music and politics (www.musicforamerica.com), this seemed an appropriate present.

Will your boss get past track 11 without throwing the CD across the room tho? Hopefully, as 17 is a belter.

Molly Moon. What a nice name. musicforcanada from Buck 65. Great song. So what do you do at musicforamerica.com? Seems like a great job. Blogging? Is it paid work? I'm jealous, I think.

I am the National Membership and Volunteer Coordinator. We "go on tour" with bands doing national tours (Gossip, Green Day, Criteria, Rilo Kiley, Neko Case, et cetera) and have volunteers show up to table: registering voters, passing out issue cards about issues relevant to our generation (student loans, same day voters reg, the minimum wage, choice), and getting folks on our mailing list to remind them about upcoming elections and actions they can take the rest of the year. We are a poor, struggling non-profit, so we don't currently pay our bloggers, but if you've got something to say about music and/or politics, we'd love to have you blog for the fame and pleasure of it. I'm supposed to blog monthly, but in reality I only do so occasionally. My latest, about album's to give to twelve year old girls, is here: http://www.musicforamerica.org/node/101612
