Refreshed from a waltz through Web-land, ( with a smokin' batch o' tunes in my virtual pocket ), [ , er...a ] mixes Jazz, jAZZ and more J@ZZ: [REAL Jazz, Right Now]: there's nothin' "lite" about these audio-files: A hybrid, of sorts; combining a semi-single artist genre, [three Mingus tracks, hence the morphed title], plus some traditional & experimental Jazz mp3s from downloadville. Bassist Dave Holland also makes an appearance along with pianist Sun Ra and yes, I did steal the cover concept with scrap bimps gathered from www.hearmusic.com but HEY, what IS sacred these days?? Armed with "Mr. Snappy", some imagination [and a set of balls], anything's possible ! Wail on [and on] my man! Can you dig that?...I knew that'cha could !

Susan called & told me you dropped off a new Jazz tape. It made for an exciting drive home. It's very good (even for a purist like me). Vershoffen sounds a lot like Ken Garrett playing Coltrane. Am I right?

great mix. love the opening sun ra track. and i'm sure s. neil fujita (who did the original painting found on your cover) would approve. i wanna trade for this one too!
