Comment:
As I previously wrote I have never downloaded a track in my life - the only CDRs I have are from the few trades I've made on the site...but I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me where Yves Hyatt is from and when 'Path to Ascension' was recorded - the compilation on which it is featured does not date it or give any pertinent information on Mr. Hyatt...likewise Lennie Hibbert...Studio One releases by Soul Jazz Records are notoriously bad at dating releases, the same could be said of Trojan, too - though I've noticed their latter box sets are getting their act together and providing both dates & writers. Enjoy!Feedback:
Nice mix, especially the War track. I had no better luck than you finding the missing info on Mr.s Hyatt and Hibbert.
the only Yves Hyatt reference I can find is to the Bombay Jazz Palace from 2002 - a compilation which features Yves Hyatt with a small reference that says it is from the mid 70s.9. Yves Hyatt - Path To Ascension
Another mid 1970s rarity which turned up on the 'Beyond The Valley Of The Beats' compilation recently. It features a gently stroked sitar, clipped wah-wah guitar and a fat breakbeat under what sounds like the sampled strings on an early Mellotron and an effects-laden MiniMoog freakout.

yes . explode
Very nice - really like the Chemical Brothers -> Fall section.
Great to see Marlena Shaw and Clinic on this.
Isn't Gobi playing the teacher! (must have found him in a sober state Dom!) & sorry can't help you re Hyatt, I'll ask around tho.
nice
This looks great--actually, it looks a lot like a Curtis Burns creation, but that's a good thing...
Great lookin' mix Dom1! (Clinic>Magazine is a helluva' segue.)
I've downloaded plenty of tracks; I also (in my youth) have been loaded, down at the tracks & I even once followed a loaded-down Indian guide tracker (named Tonto) but have yet to track down a [fully] loaded list of HOT tunes...like on this here mix.
Good job!
[...hey...that thang really works...]
