Comment:

If push comes to shove & I was asked to name my favourite soundtrack composer it would have to be Ennio Morricone - not all of his stuff makes the grade, his work for Hollywood are often tepid impersonations of his earlier work for Italian Cinema. John Barry is also fabulous, though his work from the late seventies, especially for Hollywood has suffered from the same banalities that seems to affect most actors and directors who gravitate there.
