It was the fault of (the) government.
Comment:
For the hell of it. This one's a trip. Thanks to Shawn for the Black Mountain track. Title from the pen (or spleen) of Mark E. Smith.Feedback:
A lot of unheard stuff here, but I trust your taste
Very nice indeed. Love that Bonzo cut, and that's one of the few Smiths tunes I actually like (yeah, I know - you got a problem with me not liking the Smiths; deal with it)
Good stuff Rob, especially the Beatles, Monkees, Kristofferson and Muddy Waters.
The Black Mountain track certainly rocks. Love the Fall, Bowie and muddy tracks also. Great mix.
Yr more than welcome, Rob. Looks fantastic, my friend. Love the Beatles, Zevon, BM, Fall, Lightning Bolt and Wooden Wand tracks especially.
Dig this. I always prefer you're mixed genre submissions.
Not that there's anything wrong with your single artist mixes, I just never seem to know those artists enough to truly appreciate the deep explorations you're mixes provide.
BTW, Venetian Snares, Pole, Monkees, Lightning Bolt and Superchunk on one mix...yowza!!!

Great, great selection here. Beatles, Bonzos, Bowie, Muddy.... damn!
Another bunch of interesting hell of it selections.
As usual, a Conroy gem!
Superblend-o-riffic! And, for those whose don't know, Winnipeg is a frozen shithole. Just ask Burton Cummings!
nice. I like the Muddy Waters followed by The Birthday Party bit.
If this is just for the hell of it, I'll be scared when you really plan one out... excellent compilation... excellent!
Superb! Again!
nice. love that Warren Zevon track.
Speaking from experience: Winnipeg is the worst family vacation destination ever.
cool stuff.
Speendid! That Superchunk track has always been a favorite, and my mom loves Kris Kristofferson -- so props from the both of us.
Looks great as usual - lots of stuff I'd like to check out.
Just familiarising myself with the Black Mountain album having ordered it (amongst a stack of others with Amazon vouchers I got for Chrimbo) like what I'm hearing too; just as I like what I'm seeing amongst the rest of your mix Rob.
I can't believe the title didn't grab me before, that's one of my fave Fall tracks. Lots o' goodies!
