Trying here to evoke the mood of a slumbering city, lying underneath a blanket of clouds in the midst of the long stretch of winter, wet streets, fog pouring from the subway grates, waiting. Enjoy.

I made this for a few people at work who are big into classic jazz--I was playing the Groove Collective in my car and they liked it. Just some good, solid artists that I admire, mostly newer.

Dragged out some old LPs for this mix. Some jazz/pop stylings for that last hour of the evening, before you go home or call it a night. Often the sweetest time of all.

Latin-Jazz. Starts off with Miles Davis from the classic album Sketches of Spain and slowly builds to more mambo mania before easing back with the Latin-tinged piano of Bud Powell.
