Now that I think about it, I have submitted this mix before, because I got e-mails about it from a frenetic couple of people. I realize this is one of those niche genres that not too many people can appreciate from the "outside", just like punk or country; so I run the risk of looking silly because the doesn't fall within the parameters of the mainstream, which is getting more and more blurry and muddled. After a while, I get OD'd on new, modern music, and feel the need to retreat to a different era and time, and sifting thru dusty old reggae records from the 60s and 70s is one of the ways I can discover "new" music. Then I have to go back and get all caught up...=]'
