avant garde's a nasty word. gets tossed around too much. anyway, thats what you might call this. i like all that pretentious avant-jargon. but i dont like it to be one-sided. jazz, classical, rock, country, traditional music, it can all be avant-ed. so there. side one's kind of a wigfest, kinda smacks you around. then side two is the creepy punchdrunk hallucination. avant garde is a scary thing.. and a violent thing. listen to this when you wake up after a long afternoon nap, and you're not sure what time it is.
