Great series! What's amazing to me is how many great venues like this are or were around. Never got to either Fillmore but places like The Decade in Pittsburgh, Toad's Place in New Haven, CT and the M-Shop in Ames, Iowa have hosted tremendous varieties of acts. (The M-Shop for example has had Willie Dixon, Tower of Power, Nirvana and the Mountain Goats over the years.)

The diversity and admission price of these old gig bills always make me long for the possibility of time travel.

I'm with lo-fi - the diversity of those bills was incredible! Great mix and theme.

Absolutely comprehensive! K-tel Records is jealous, no doubt.

Sigh. I was born 15 years too late. I want that light show job.

Surprisingly diverse! Regarding the 'light show' effects... ages ago I bought a kit through Edmund Scientific with parts meant to emulate the colorful oil-n-water mixology shown above. Never got around to borrowing an overhead projector from school to create it!

Classics. Great tribute to the lost venues. I used to hang out at the old Electric Factory on Arch St. in Philly back in the day.

Very cool, man. Very 60s. I guess we didn't know how good we had it back then. Excellent job.
