Comment:

A friend of mine recently moved here from China for grad school. In a plea for hyperenculturation, she requested suggestions for American pop cultural texts, including film, tv and music. I decided to make her some cds. Following these initial 3 discs, I grew rather frustrated by blurred genre lines and what to include/exclude. So I made a fourth disc of data including 15 full albums. Hopefully that serves as a nice introduction.
