Comment:
For That Girl (TM). Thanks to my Wonder Years pals for the Janis Martin track. Title from the pen of Mr. Zimmerman.Feedback:
simply beautiful!
Always liked the Dylan tune, even if the title always seemed like a backhanded compliment. Fantastic choices all around, though. Would love to hear tr. 18 for myself ...
So romantic. Quite inspiring.
very nicely done. that girl is quite lucky!
I know it's serioud if you pulled out that Waits track. Congrats!
my ol' lady just put that zombies track on a mix made for me, good choice. love the rufus wainwright, tom waits, al green, coltrane, dylan, kinks & bowie too. superb as usual
this is a warm one. love your Rufus Wainwright, Barry White picks and the Husker Du to Tom Waits segment.
Love everything about this Rob.
Spacemen 3 AND Barry White = awesome. Good work Rob!

Oh, great stuff. Lovely, in fact - she's a lucky one.
Wow -- many faves here (Huskers, XTC, Fripp, Kinks, Bowie), everything else looks great as well. Nice to see this underappreciated Kinks track getting some play these days (including Jeff Tweedy's take on the new Golden Smog album).
lucky lady, this mix is a wonderful show of affection.
and that failure's no success at all... nice track. sweet not syrupy
wonderful
Some great picks here but I'll single out the Spacemen 3 as a fave.
'That' being this.
Just amazing, and any mix that kicks off with the words ' I want to spend my life with a girl like you' is a ballsy move. Love the XTC, Fripp, MF, Al Green, just too many to mention.

Just incredible. The Coltrane and Waits are standouts, but really, the whole thing is lovely. Even James Taylor somehow works.
Lovely stuff again - like the Green/Coltrane/Dylan, and the Jane's Addiction/XTC. And Janis Martin always rocks!
Meant to congratulate you on this earlier, man. Fucking amazingly beautiful. I'm with Jenny-she's one heck of a muse.
Wow... A lot of incredible music here. Stylistically sprawling, but it works. Great job.
No complaints from me! Happy to hear that all is good in the romance department, though Marlo Thomas is a bit old for you, isn't she? ;)
Astoundingly sweet! Love it.
Nice one Rob, you know whenever I see The Troggs on a mix I always think The Zombies should be there too, dunno why? Rickie's wrong -this is a pleasure cruise!
'...there's a place on my arm, I've written her name next to mine...'
Nice one Rob. Hope she appreciates all the good tunes that she has inspired.
Bee-autiful! Wait, wrong mix...
A great piece of work, Rob, truly a labour of love.
SEXY!
Wonderful mix there Rob. I almost missed it but now I can be comment #30
Love the opener, which seques wonderfully into track 2, which sounds a bit like an homage to the Troggs. Track 5 is HOT! Other faves: Kinks, Barry White, Magnetic Fields, Al Green, Jane's, RLJ, XTC, Dylan, Tom Waits, Lloyd Cole, James Taylor, Coltrane, of course the Janis Martin is "up my alley", but it's all great, really.
P.S. -- This is my new favorite mix.
