Comment:

Well, I seemed to be having so much fun with my last mix of early 1969 tunes, that I thought, well I have enough extra tunes for an encore presentation. Only the first song has been used before, and that was on one of my earlier mixes of what I thought were cool tunes from various years (but all pre '80s I believe). The last song may seem a bit oddly placed, but it would have been weirder elsewhere (I kind of want to use it so you all can hear another version of the song). The picture below is of The Rascals (and they sure looked like their name), who I think nearly steal the show with their song 'See'.

Truly great once again. I remember vividly the first time I heard "A Boy Named Sue" ... hard to believe I was 8 at the time.

'69 does seem worthy of a follow-up...some very good and obscure choices, though I wish my home-town band (Zager & Evans) hit had been included.
