Comment:

Yes, it's more songs about flowers, sunshine and being with the one you love. Is that so wrong? Only if you're a member of the Smiths fan club. My membership was revoked after I played this mix at the last meeting. I'll never make that mistake again. Gotta give some flowers to Bluecats and Matt Hinrichs, who both contributed some tunes. Okay, here's the requisite quiz: which song was left off this band's 1967 album because it was considered "too bright." Be the first to get it right and I'll lovingly send you a copy.

Mahdishain got the correct answer right off the bat. I guess I need to make these questions tougher, like which Hillside Singer served time for getting naked in front of a horse.

Way to go, Moe! I don't know what the Smiths' problem is, but I know if this MIX got any brighter, it'd qualify for a MENSA Membership. Is that nice enough? The Frog

Yesterday's sunshine makes tomorrows flowers.....well, along with last years topsoil ....and todays rain. This looks top notch my friend. your similiar mixes have been in a steady rotation here in the townhouse, bringing a youthful spring air to the atmosphere.

Mr. Moe, this mix puts a spring in my step. Some of this stuff is really obscure and surprisingly good. I liked the stretch of corny chorales in tracks 23-26.

Favorites - Astrud, Steve Lawrence, The Hillside Singers (rejiggered McDonalds jingles never sounded so good!), The Match, Sue Raney, Love, Heaven Bound, Bobby & I, The Hellers and The Neighborhood.
