Except for the hard drive crash, April was a very good month. Especially the first five.

the modest mouse album was a bit of a let down (even with johnny marr as the helm, which probably boosted my expectations unfairly high), though i absolutely love that track. some other cool stuff here, but much i don't know...
Okay, you are a bit late, but no one can sum up April quite like you do. I must have slept through that month, since I only recognize that Bird & the Bee song. I've read about Patti Smith's Tears For Fears cover, but I have yet to hear it.
Loving your 2-4 stretch ( haven't heard the opener ). Moonbabies, Amerie ( she kicks ass! ) and Air. And I reckon the Manics single is a true return to form. Nice summary Peter..
