Comment:

OK, OK...I must admit that this one was sort of made up on the fly, kind of as I went along. It's also sort of one of my "mopping-up" exercises, where I gather together all the stray tracks I had on the back burner for previous mixes but hadn't yet found a home for, hoping that they'll all gel into a more or less cohesive mix! Overall, I don't think it's one of my best mixes, and I fully admit that Disc #2 could definitely have used a bit more ironing out in terms of the running order, but as I am so fond of saying, it is what it is! For some odd, peculiar reason, I thought that the closing pairing of Van Halen and Patti Smith would work like a ch-arm. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, I'll leave that call up to you...

any mix with Johansen and Ronson is alright with me, almost makes up for the Whitesnake and Axl Rose...

Novelty, a forgotten JD gem which I have to salute you for including. Meanwhile November Rain has one of the most ridiculous videos ever.

I'd been wanting to use that Hanoi Rocks track in a mix for a while, but I haven't found a home for it yet either!
