Comment:
None too subtle, eh?I understand that the term "pissed" in the UK leans towards a description on one that has had too much to drink. Here in the US, it means anger leading to rage.As me da's ma and me ma's da were both raven-haired, blue-eyed Irish, I reserve the right to use the term "Mick" to describe myself. If this upsets you, piss off. Thanks.Mix was started while listening to my other mix of attitude malfunction, and I found myself hitting repeat on Flatfoot 56. That lead to opening that cut along with the Worker's Song. The assumption of room temperature of Roger Smith, target of Michael Moore's Roger & Me, lead to an attitude of Up Yours Corporate Scumbags, and one thing lead to another, and here we have an entire disc of weeping, wailing, howling sons and daughters from the Emerald Isle, even the ones from Boston and Chicago. The final pairing were inevitable, really. Once I heard Meisce, I knew I had to put my favorite Pogues cut on.I've known too many poor/broke souls sent across the seas to fight for someone else's sake. Running time: 66:42. Enough time to do the dishes and mop the kitchen.Feedback:
me, i'm an early dropkick murphys fan, so i'd have picked different tracks there (maybe "do or die", "never alone", or the like from their lp do or die)... but i like the concept, and i'm certainly no irishman! nice work.
chips, a pint and this mix is a winning combo!

An I like me pint dark n bitter, thanks!Hard as it may be to believe, there is a pub/brewery here in Indiana that makes the 2nd best stout I've ever had.Sometimes, it is AS good.Yes, I said it.
That's a great closer.
