Another picture postcard mix - this one is a tribute to my mom who was cuttin' it up at the Palomar and the Rendevous in '38 and making planes in '42. Making this was a great fun. I grew up hearing these tracks on my folks' record player, but I'd forgotten how some of the old swing and jive guys could rip it up. There are also some silly and some sentimental songs of the era on here. I think everything here is fairly listenable, but the sound quality is inconsistent. Many of the recordings were dodgy enough on CD and being compressed to MP3's doesn't help. http://www.sendspace.com/file/p8jbm4Feedback:
