For Alicia, the best friend I could have asked for in my 23 years on this planet. Next month, she's off to Africa for two years with the Peace Corps, and she wanted me to make her some mixes so she'd have something new to listen to while she's living in a Zambian village. So hopefully, this mix and #2 (there's a third as well, but it's mostly just odds and ends, songs she no longer has that she was replacing) serve their purpose.Feedback:
I sent several mixes to a friend of mine who was in the Peace Corps in the early 90's. This looks like one that will be greatly appreciated by its recipient. Don't be surprised (or dismayed) if they don't come back with her, instead being swapped among her Peace Corps mates, which is actually pretty cool. Best wishes to your friend.

Man, a lot of this is my soundtrack from 2000/2001. All the tracks here post-2001 aren't too shabby either. Great mix. I hope your friend enjoys this and living in Zambia.
