this looks quite a bit like a wrap up of what i've been digging from this year thus far - the headlights, vampire weekend, she & him, mag fields, stephen malkmus, hot chip, beach house, & dodos are all on my list (though i would qualify the radiohead as a 2007 release, no?) - the chris walla i was greatly disappointed by, pretty much dull as all fuck. looks cool though.

yeah, radiohead "came out" in 2007 but the actual hard copy release was 1/1 so i count it in 2008.

i also found chris walla's to be weaker than i had hoped, but there are still some songs on there that are really catchy, i think.

Hot Chip is starting to grow on me (now there's a bizarre thought). Looks like some smart choices here. Well done.
