Comment:
side one- his songs. side two- my songs. sometimes they would overlap. but this was a little over 2 years ago. he will still be in my heart even eight years from now. sometimes I have trouble listening to these songs or these artists, but this is my past love affair written all across a mix-tape. all of my mixing has led me to this one mix. love is love. love was love. but music- these songs are forever. just like my memories- which hopefully won't hurt as much as the years pass on.Feedback:
more than anything, i hate repeating artists. but in this case, when it's telling a story of two people, sometimes it just makes sense. well done, and i can relate to a lot of this.
Well-mixed. I'm a little partial to the "she said" half of this (particularly the Cure, Clash, Gen X, Bettie Serveert, Joy Division, Rilo Kiley, and New Order tracks). Plus, the "he said" side loses points for the Elton John track, which I can appreciate for its appeal, but, still, Elton John, ick.
Not sure what PK has against "Daniel," which is a treme ndous tune and one of my favorites here, but there's plenty of other good stuff here to keep him satiated. :-)
I'm partial to the second side as well with the Ted Leo, Gen X, Rilo Kiley and Stars.Although, the first side does have two of the best Against Me! songs on there.
Oooooooh.
This is just too good. So much stuff I like on here! Except I'm with Cliff on the Elton. Still.... nice job!

I'm sure this has great biographical value for you, no matter how hard it is.
I was trying to compare the two of you musically and, well, I just don't know about that. I do like the mix very much.
