Here's another "songs across the pond" mix with Avocado Rabbit combining his musical sel ections with KathrynandRupert. Previously the Harmonious Hare has paired with the likes of sammyg123 and Barry Dali.
Like the notorious British slasher, whose name is splashed on the cover design, our two mixers have their own reputations for finding cutting-edge bands. Their choices look, sound, and - in all probability - feel quite different to each other. What they share is a love for rock and pop music of the loud variety. For maximum enjoyment of this mix, they suggest you go to the volume control on your playback device of preference and TURN IT UP.

As I mentioned in my email to you, it is fun to see Rupert's influence on both of us. Lots to love here, but my favorite is the George Burns quote!

I'm with doowad on the George Burns, brilliant. And the title is a stroke of genious. Looks good, and not only do I know some artist, I even know songs! Hurrah!

Spiritualized and Johnathan Richman are my favorites here. Great artwork too, as expected. Really nice work, guys!

Cranking up the volume works for me. Cosmics and Spiritualized (why the American spelling of the band name when they are British?)are the stand out tracks for me.

Unzipped and ripped! You guys do know how to get us all rocking! Amazing cover, a.r., and tracks 5 + 18 are my favorites in this pond-crossing playlist.

Wow! I'll guess K&R is on the evens. I've slowed down on the alt-dj front in recent months, due to collaborating many, many times. But I'd certainly come out of semi retirement to team up with Rupert..

I like volume as much as the next rock fan, but content remains key. Several of these cuts seem worthy.

Wow, I haven't heard that Kitchens of Distinction song in ages. It still sounds as great as ever though and I'm loving the Spiritualized pick as well.

Super mix, guys. Had it playing in my ipod today, but since it was a continuous mp3, most of the time I had no idea who I was hearing. Will have to give it another spin so I can figure out who the artists are, I'll go against my pal Sammy and guess Rupert as the odd man out here. Who else would have Queen Anne's Lace in their collection?
