Comment:

Just two more eliminations today:112. Metallica - Kil-l 'Em All (1983)113. The Rolling Stones - Hot Rocks 1964-1971 [compilation] (1971)Well...I really must say that I'm a lot happier with the way that DISC #1 turned out. Yeah, sure, it's bragging, but I think that DISC #1's as close to a perfect mix disc as any I've put together in recent months! DISC #2 holds up pretty well, I suppose, but at about the halfway point I ceased to have any sort of idea or clue as to what songs I was going to include and just kind of made it up as I went along - unlike DISC #1, which I had pretty much mapped out in my head for a few days prior! However...I'm pretty sure nobody here will put up much of an argument with my choice of The Who's live cover of Eddie Cochran's Summertime Blues as the closer! :-)Chinese Democracy - And on Sunday, November 23rd, 2008, at Best Buy stores across the nation...Hell finally froze over!! (ha, ha, ha!)
