Comment:

As the sample in Shadow's song goes..it's the money...and these artists aren't making much....There are lots of good mainstream rap acts out there that I enjoy, but I enjoy them mainly because they entertain me...these artists not only entertain me, but I relate to the stuff that they are saying as well...mainstream acts concentrate too much on money, material possessions, and the opposite sex (as material possessions)...they don't have the backbone to show the emotions and vulnerability of artists like Buck 65 or Slug of Atmosphere...beats by: 1)DJ Shadow 2)The Herbaliser 3)Jel 4)Aesop Rock 5)El-P 6)El-P 7)Mike Ladd 8)Omid 9)DJ Mayonnaise 10)Ant 11)Jesse Dangerously 12)Buck 65 13)MF Doom 14)Anomoly 15)Chief Xcel 16)Mike Ladd 17)Daddy Kev...one more note most of Buck 65's work is untitled but at the end of this track he rattles off a bunch of possible song titles they are:i was right all along, i've never had stitches, mr. knowitall, don't forget the chaos, two sizes too big, hydratwist, the seeing river, creative differences, no time to lose, beasts beasts beasts

this is fantastic, and a real antidote to all the 'bling bling' rappers out there.
