Comment:
Made for my classical music loving girl. I actually have a bit of an aversion to posting romantic or depression based mixes - too personal it seems. But evidently that aversion isn't strong enough to negate my desire to share these labors of love or self-pity with you, my fellow obsessives. One last word: this mix has a small-scale narrative bent to it, and in that respect, of course, it tells a true story.Feedback:
There are some *really* good songs here.
I'm with Chongo, lots good stuff. IncludingThe Sea and Cake, Gram Parsons, Captain Beefheart and Fontella Bass.
I like how you *ended* with Nick Drake's "Introduction." Good stuff.
Lots of good picks on here, whatever the plot. Like the Sly & Small Faces picks & the perversity in the placement of that Nick Drake track.
Beautiful
Absolutely phenomenal, Randy.
Some very nice selection all the way around!
Great work, especially by using a different Fontella-bass song!!
Aw, thanks everyone.
This is great. This could easily be a playlist of what I've been listening to lately, 'cept for a few intriguing oddities. Good job.
