Comment:
The sequel to a previous compilation I made for a friend. The mood has a very comfortable slope to it. I was trying to keep the music from the 60's ... hard bop to more avant-garde, with an emphasis on the meditative and spiritual. The Bobo Stenson is an intermission of sorts, I broke this one up into sections, crossfading some of the songs, and allowing pauses between others.Feedback:
I totally agree with your inclusion of Cecil Taylor's version of Thelonious Monk's Bemsha Swing.
Man, Cecil's version is amaing.

I'd love to hear this.
The segues between "Oh, This Freedom's Slave (that's a typo above) Cries" and "Straight Up And Down" and "Barb's Song To The Wizard" and Wise One" work extremely well. I'm using SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading in Winamp, and then using the Sqrsoft Disk Writer to make the .wav files to burn to disc.
You'll find that jazz is probably the most difficult to crossfade out of any genre (save orchestral music).

This looks great.
Nice off mainstream picks
