some oddities and, maybe, bootlegs for this mix.
most of the black singers sing "white" songs giving them a suol tuoch. the white singers try to mantain the warm of the original tunes (and Mr Bolton is better here than when he sings with Pavarotti. Cilla Black is a white English old singer and his song is Italian (sure!!!).
the mix is outside but also inside the songs, pairing Rod Steward with one of the fabulous Isley Brothers. Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana & Jose Feliciano is not R'n'B but it works. Cheb Khaled is an arabian rai singer and Johnny Clegg is a South African rocker but the song is strong.
at the end a tribute to the Rollins Stones .
