Comment:

Years ago in a land not so far away, there was a lake beach set in a small, rural, farming community called "Topperville". As is the case in other small towns within the Prairie State, there were rarely more than a few activities available for the rambunctious teenagers to expend their energies. "The Beach" offered a cool hangout where guys would sport their cut off jean shorts, the girls could model their newest Cheryl Tiegs design multi-stripe bikini, and both were way too trendy wearing their earth shoes. The music at the beach was always heard through a juke box that was spinning the A and B sided, 45 rpm, vinyl discs. Usually the girls would take turns dropping in a quarter for two songs because the boys were too busy showing off their awkward bravado. The Beach Jukebox provided the sounds to a place, now remembered as, where all the good times have gone. Enjoy.
