Comment:

No obscurities here (or in my collection, for that matter)--just an 80-minute summation of a fine band using their albums. I'm voting Mezzanine as the best... any other thoughts?

Blue Lines, easy. Their last album was a stinker.

Nice choices - the beginning section is especially good! I'm voting for Blue Lines, by the way, although it's a close one between it and Mezzanine...

Agreed re: the last album and also agreed that Blue Lines is very close to being their best album.

Love everything they've done, but Mezzanine just squeezes it for me. Makes me laugh that back in the Gulf war Mk1 British Radio had to refer to them simply as Massive! They are huge in France too.

I think I must be missing out here! Unfortunately I've only heard Protection, which was pretty good. I guess I'd better check out Mezzanine and Blue Line!

I remember seeing this before and came back to check it out - thanks for the comments on mine! Interesting that I said Blue Lines was my favourite - these days I'm very much into Mezzanine, but now that summer's rolling around I'll probably listen to Blue Lines a lot more (I think it suits the sun. Or something.) Anyway, you chose some really nice tracks from each album - 100th Window, I'm sure you'll agree, is really difficult to deal with but you have two good ones there - Small Time... was one of the last cuts from mine! I'm glad to see Eurochild there too. In general you do really kick-ass single artist mixes - I'll have to browse through them more :)

Mezzanine is great, but in my opinion, Blue Lines is one of the GREATEST albums in the history of existence!!! That's all I have to say.
