Comment:

Just some cover versions I like. "Creep" was labeled on Kazaa as being by the Cure, but it doesn't really sound like Robert Smith to me. Hence the question mark.

Nice selections, especially the Phantom Planet. By the way, to give credit where credit is due, the song "Tainted Love" was first recorded by soul singer Gloria Jones long before Soft Cell (although Soft Cell's far overshadowed Gloria's in popularity).

i know that stp does a song "creep" but it is not even the same song as radiohead. i am with you on thinking it isnt the cure either, amg doesnt say anywhere where that is true, someone is just trying to mess with people, i believe

funkypopples -

The Shins covered "Silhouettes. " I can't find the listing on AMG, but I know the song. i think Iron & Wine did "Such Great Heights."

The Cure? recording is of the Radiohead song. It's live, so it might not turn up on AMG. I dunno, my friend said it does sound like the Cure to her, and she's a bigger fan than I am, so...

great choices for covers -- eva cassidy's "fields of gold" and rasputina's "wish you were here" are especially memorable. this cover-addict applauds you!

Great mix! I think it's Tears For Fears, not The Cure.
