Comment:
Another competition mix borne from several fruits - the first is that it's basically a mix for a co-worker who loves power-pop; I figured this shit would float his boat and tide him over until the next time he can go buy some records. The second is a former co-worker of mine who's been asking for recommendations, citing likes such as Everything But The Girl and Aztec Camera. While there's nothing quite that fey here (ahem - right ... I almost said that with a straight face), it's organic pop of a sort that he's likely to enjoy. And honestly, I can't stop listening to this mix. Nearly every song brings a grin to my face and makes me tap my toes.Feedback:
"There's love for you up the population grows!
And I don't mind waiting, if it takes a long long time, and I don't mind wasting, gthe best years of our lives, and I don't mind racing through our goodbyes!"
Cruel and fabulous!
Why doesn't everybody love Rilo Kiley???!

tres cool.
I loved Kirby. I love the Pernice Brothers. Nice.
i love that crooked fingers song; exploding hearts are always a good choice for livining up a mix. (which is horribly ironic) I'm surprised you left out big star though. kings of power pop!
