Comment:
You look at your Patek Philippe, it's only just two, and the party's barely started. The pretenders are dropping off, but you're still going strong . . . and so's the music. Make no mistake: Guerilla Black knows how to make an entrance. Kicking off "Trixxx" with a trumpet fanfare fit for a head of state, Black digs into the meat of the track with a sonic-boom bass bomb that'll knock the 20-inch rims right off your Escalade. Probably the best-known performance of former *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake's slinky, funkified "Rock Your Body" came during halftime at Super Bowl XXXVIII, launching the phrase "wardrobe malfunction" into the national vocabulary, but even without la Jackson in tow, the dance-floor smash is an attention-grabber. Finally, MC Hammer parties like it's 1994 in the OG-style speed-rap of "Pumps and a Bump," with a hook that embeds itself between your ears and just won't let go.
