Comment:

i made this tape right before last summer ('00) started, and it consumed many batteries over the summer. bogarted a lot of car decks too. a lotta feel-good summer-ish tracks, with some other goodies thrown in there because, well, they're good. there also seems to be an abundance of slug appearances on the tape. there's some 'essense'-esque hip-hop (j-live, krs), some early 90's classics (tribe!), some "abstract/conceptual/whatever" stuff (aesop rock, them), & some lovely indie rap from the last couple of years (mf doom, cage, acey, etc). oh, and i can't forget the rakim track. all in all, it's just gooood hip-hop that a lot of people i encountered over the summer seemed to have enjoyed. 'don eats gogurt' lives on, carrying the torch of good hip-hop through the diamond-studded sludge & multisyllabic-babble drenched swamps. yeah.

VERY odd coincidence that you chose to place "Microphone Fiend" right before "C.I.A.," considering Rage Against The Machine's decision to cover "Microphone Fiend" on their December 2000 release, "Renegades." Synchonicity rears it's gnomish head.

Hi there,

I'm a great mf doom fan and of course I prefer all the other artists featured on this tape. But what about the tape ? Can I listen to it ? Where ?
