dust & ether
Comment:
77:32This one dives D-E-E-P. Ambient dronescapes & minimal-techno mashups...blended with a
smattering of organic percussion and an oh-so-subtle backdrop of, uh...er...rhythym
(heh...an entirely new concept for me). All musical gaps filled-in & smushed together via
Roxio.
(A free copy to the first to correctly identify, by proper name, the artist
appearing twice on the playlist.)
Feedback:
Looks quite interesting! As for the quiz... isn't Jason Corder of Savauge vs. Corder also the man behind Off the Sky? Just a wild guess ;-)
Woo...pretty fast on the draw, Orchid! Jason Corder is the answer. Thanks for playing.
And thanks re my Savage/Savauge typo. I made the correction on the playlist,
the art'll have to wait 'til I'm back from vacation.

I consider myself somewhat knowledgable in regards to Ambient/Experimental Music.
Yet, I don't know a single artist on here.
And, the fact that Orchid answered that question that quickly has further diminished my music knowledge self-perception.
I am humbled, and...actually, it's quite refreshing.

pretty nice
musicgnome: just about every track here is available online
(2 of the tracks were sent privately, by the artists, in exchange for
review/feedback). Ambient is intriguing to me because of its
spidery web of sub-genres: Microsound, Minimal-Techno, Drone, New Age, IDM,
Classical-Fusion, etc.
If you explore the links, then drill down, they'll take you on an interesting journey.

Any new concept for you is worth exploring by me! An interesting note is that I once had a wine that was describe exactly the same as you described this mix. I would imagine this mix is just as intoxicating.
Respect as ever!
quite interesting!!!!!
Who knew that Orchid knew so much about ambient music? That girl is just full of surprises. As for me, I'm clueless when it comes to any of the above -- but hey, I like the lunar landscape cover and the type font -- and it appears you spelled everything correctly.
Beautiful cover. Man, I wish I had won that quiz. Not that I knew the answer. :) But this looks really delicious.
quite wow.
