Comment:
With all of the mind-melting going on and the finding out Burns is an Illuminati disinformation agent it was HIGH TIME(s) to fire up a patch of cortical area previously held in reserve.....this is what comes of it. Oops, gotta' go...it's my turn in the Glass Bead game...Feedback:
Got me. Dunno any of this. But I'm pretty sure I'll get a chance to delectate in the delicate delights of Deliquescence purdy soon. Right? ;)
Only know Montgomery...would love to know more.
This looks super interesting.
This looks super interesting.
I echo the comment made by Thomas (who probably hates me now since I haven't written in so long -- but I digress) I do know I like Kendra Smith, Epicycle and 13 minutes of heavens-scraping, amorphous mesh of vintage electronic burble-and-skree and free-form acid soaked rock. Nice three-faced cover too.
I'm scratching my head and feeling dumb...mind you discovering Burns is an Illuminati disinformation agent is making me scratch even harder.
A glorious mix-up here Valis (especially Roy Montgomery -> Vocokesh) which inspires an altogether different kinda "line" dancing. Now that a light has been shown on my Illuminati role (all disinformation is information, though all information is not disinformation or some such) I don't have to hide my mason jar full of all-seeing eyes when the parents come over. I'm here, I'm part of a globalist conspiricy, get used to it. Novus ordo seclorum...but, you didn't hear it from me.
"Conspiricy" or "conspiracy" you get the picture.
Only know the Kendra Smith tune, but it looks wonderfully-Valis-like which is enough to go on, and oh, yes, the cover is a work of art. Your synapses are firing as fine as ever!
I don't know a thing on here, and I suspect that means I'm missing out!
Well Magister Ludi, this well may be justesoteric, philosophical, cosmology of a mix but I would love a copy
Well, never leave a Mason ajar.
Is that track 6 a pun on another band we know?

I know only the Kendra Smith song....make that I KNOW who Kendra Smith is!
I must admit that I don't know most of the artists here, but I have no doubt that this is a great listen. Maybe I could hear it sometime?
I've heard most of these but the Yawns track is enough to do you in. Smokin'
Hmmm.... Don't know a single thing here, but it's from Valis so ... I'd love to hear it!
this looks like another interesting mix.......although like the previous folks, i don't know a song here!
Good to see you on board the mind-melt train, valis. Just looking at this mix gives me a serious case of space madness. I may need to hear this one in greater detail. (it's been a while since I've had a dose from the psilocybe 7 studios.
I'm thinkin' this'd go good in front of the fireplace...along with a cup o' my own Arctic Tea.
Viva Viva Voce is all I can say. Oh & of course what a fine reserve; Can I reserve some reserve to go with a nice little St Emilion from my Chrimbo reserve?
well don't know nothiung but I'm for sure really interested
I bet the Lemon/Lime is the least melted in this line-up.
Upon relistening to Vibe #4, forget about the mind melt. This has a lovely (not), buoyant (not), end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it(does)charm to it.
Gonna go hide under the bed now.
Gonna go hide under the bed now.
In all beginnings dwells a magic force. The world that this mix represents begins divinely , blissfully, radiantly, with a springtime loveliness.. Magister Valis, I hope you don't drown in the pond like our dear Joseph Knecht.
Wow - i only know the Kendra track, but if that's the general flavor of the mix, I'm quite intrigued. Plus, if it's Valis, it's got to be good.
I know nothing about Ambient. Just wanted to say, thanks for the Good Advice. Oh, and Withnail? He's the greatest.
Deliquescence: (1) The conversion of a solid substance into a liquid as
a result of absorption of water vapor from the air (2) The pleasure derived from the mashing of one's brain (into a pulp) when listening to a Valis mix. So I would question Mr Burns' assertion of a new order of the ages. SNAFU in my opinion . . . and a good job too!

Trippy, psychedelic, etc are the adjectives I'm getting when looking at the band names and cover. Can't say I'm familiar with a lot of this but it looks pretty bloody cool.
Pleasant like an opium drip. Reflects the forceful personality of the mixer!
High times, indeed. Got a whole lotta love for that Kendra Smith EP & appreciate seeing Epicycle here. They're criminally unknown even in their hometown.
After starting off the new year with a bang, it is nice to chill out with a cup of green tea and absorb the aural ambience that this mix spins in my brain. Thank you Valis.
Wow... mind melting indeed.
