Comment:

REALLY breaking the golden rule of mixes here by repeating tracks by James Brown, Toots, Skatalites but I just couldn't help myself! I am sorry if I have offended the hardcore mix officiados. The idea behind this mix was to get down and boogie big time!! If you want a copy let me know, Carl

Rules are meant to be broken. "I Feel Good" looking at this mix.

At least you didn't put them next to each other, like 2
Toots songs in a row. Long as you avoid that, I think it's perfectly fine to repeat artists. Lends the mix some consistency of vision. I like your boogie tactics. They delight me. You have a unique approach

Now, let it be known, that I think it is perfectly acceptable to repeat artists consecutively. Yet, having said that, I understand the point of the previous comment. The selection is extremely well down and a very nice way to introduce these artists to a younger audience.

Git it, huh...git, huh...the groove machine...hit me! Great mix and great excuse for gratuitous use of Baccara record sleeve. Back to back, side to side -- hey we doin' the mashed potato.
