Comment:
The first of, what I hope to be, a long running series of jazz focused mixes. Future installments will be artist, style, era, theme focused...but other's (like this one) are just a collection of tunes which have been on "repeat" for some time.A little something for my trip into the city this evening for posh dining with friends.
Jazzzzzzzz......

Feedback:
Enjoy yr trip & posh dinner - this looks great!
I like this.
Totally hep. Hey, I was going to use "posh dining with friends" as the title of my next mix -- now that's close enough for jazz.
nicely done
Lovely, Chris...absolutely charmin'.
Cool shit, cat.
Nice. I esp love that Dolphy pick.
Ditto to Rob's. A nice ending to a good beginning.
Nice set.
Beautiful, and very much up my street (not just because of the posh dining ;) ). I too hope this series will be long-running!
Sublime.
Gorgeous. Is that Art Ensemble track a sign that the package made it through the rain, sleet and dark of night?
Wonderful. The opening quartet is fantastic. That Triptych Myth CD is indeed beautiful and "Ming" remains my favorite Octet LP, maybe my favorite Murray LP. Love the Dolphy -> Konitz after dinner liqueur too.
Echoing the thoughts of the last 4 mixers. Wonderful, gorgeous, beautiful & sublime.
Wow, how not to sound like a broken record? This is great. I also love the Dolphy pick ( I was listening to the Les McCann/Lou Rawls version last night),as well as the Russell track
A great collection.
love this. i can never get enough eric dolphy.
