Comment:

Hey all. Been in a bit of a rut lately (personally AND mix-wise). Been wanting to put together a rawkin' mix for a long time and figured this might be the best way to get me out of said rut. Many thanks to my good friend, musicgnome for the Pearls and Brass track.

I'm with Salman. Dig the Boris, Pharaoh Overlord, Electric Wizard and Comets on Fire picks too. Here's hoping the downtuned sounds contributes to upturned spirits.

Mix wise at least you seem to have overcome your rut. This rocks. Hope things turn around for you.

Fantastic stuff, Shawn - don't expect anything less from you! :) Like the opening trio, and the Spacemen 3 a lot.

HOLY FUCKIN' SHIT, BATMAN!!! This is fundamentally godlike in every way, from your opener (my favorite Mudhoney song that isn't "Touch Me I'm Sick"), through the Stooges and Black Flag (that's one hell of a 1-2-3 punch) on to the Comets and Spacemen later. I hope your rut resolves itself, my friend. If you need anything, let me know.
