Comment:

I've been sitting on this one FOREVER, y'all. Lots of stuff that's been in heavy rotation for me over the past few months. Mainly, "Talk of the Town", which I've heard many, many times in the past but didn't really hit me upside the head until a few months ago and reminded me of what a GREAT band The Pret3nders were in their heyday.

I was trying to follow the thematic thread of this mix but didn't know enough songs. I'll just have to hear it one day, I guess.

Fan-fuckin'-tastic, my frie nd. Further proof of our kindred soulitude here. Worship the AH Jr, Grant Hart, and Pere Ubu tracks.

Man, do I love that BYOP track. Always glad to see the Butthole Surfers show up 'round these parts too.

I'd have to hear this one. Looks intriguing especially being anchored by The Prete_nders and Chambers Bros.

I remember buy the best of The Pret3nders about 15 years ago and loving it ( with Talk of The Town being a highlight ). I've never actually listened to a full album of theirs, and feel I probably should. Great mix Shaun, all the best of the holidays..
