Part two of a Tom Waits introduction for my fiance. Making a Tom Waits mix is extremely hard because I always end up just wanting to include every song he's ever recorded. The first one was centered around "Misery is the River of the World". This one was built around "Take it with me". So there you have it.

Include every one if necessary or wanted. Just do it better than the record company did.
You have really hit on two diverse ends of the spectrum with these two mixes. I agree with you, a single (or even 2-disc) mix of Waits' stuff is extremely difficult but you took the right approach, follow a single thread and don't try to cover every great song (or even every great album), if you do, the mix would need to be 13 discs long. Nicely done, although you might want to have her listen to this one first.
