Tasteless Series - 1 - Return of Tasteless
Comment:
OK Here's the deal. I did not create this compilation. My good friend Joel Marion did, in the age of mix tapes, and we all enjoyed the general rowdiness of it till -- in the fullness of time -- the tape (and the play list) was lost, folded, spindled and otherwise destroyed.Time passeth. Joel (as best he could), recreated the songs onto a CD. Most were from analog sources... rough analog sources (did I say ROUGH?). I got my hands on it, and re-recreated the playlist from clean digital source material (when possible) and when not possible, I used the magic of software to clean and enhance as best I could.
There are three discs in the Tasteless series (Disc 2 and Disc 3 are by the Little Spencer Boys) (thus far) (I think there should be more, so make some!). The theme is simple. Each song should be a paean to sex, drugs, drink, or otherwise 'tasteless' speech or behavior.
Now a few minutes about the cover. I like bad art. This is bad art. Art Frahm was a fairly mediocre artist with a obsessive and compulsive need to portray loose panties. (Celery seems to often enter the picture as well, but don't ask ME to try to explain). In any case a little creative Google-ing should get you ALL you need to know (or see).
The other two 'editions' (both Little Spencer Boys creations), follow.

Feedback:
Amusing theme, fun picks.
Hey, she buys her underwear at the same shop as the other girl. I wish I'd never sold that shop...still lovin' this series, albeit out of sequence.
That ain't bad art, sir. That is very good art and you made very good use of it. Sam Shepard would be proud of this mix.
An excellent series. Any chance for download links?
