Comment:

This (and the next, "Tough Morning") are pure random compilations. Without looking, I pulled CDs from the collection. Within some broad self-created parameters, I 'rolled the dice' to select the tracks. I did spend some time making the mix work in a track to track sense (I hope).
In any case, I have recently been thinking too much and felt it was time to play. I have always especially loved some of the "old" mixes, and it reminded me a bit of how we used to mix cassettes... with one song 'calling out' for the next.

In any case, enjoy them! Title from the cover.

helps the experiment to have a strong collection to blindly pull from. 8,11-13, and 21 are tops.

We did this once in college with LPs and a set of D&D Dice (yes, I'm that much of a Geek) but it didn't turn out nearly so well.

Nice one 'Diceman.' As To says though, "Helps the experiment...."

You should play around with your collection more often. Weird to see some of these songs sharing space but refreshing also. And it reminds me that I should use more Material Issue in my own mixes...

Nice. I particularly like your 3-5 run.

Some interesting statistical clustering going on here, but I don't mind (good to see two early Fleetwood Mac songs). Would have been nicer to see a different Procol Harum song though, since they have many underplayed songs that are worthy of a listen.

I love the idea of using dice to select the tracks. though it's been played to death, I still think that Katrina & the Waves song is hotter than the sunshine they're going on about.
