A self explanatory title. I have a week off work, and it starts right here, and this is the soundtrack. There are a few songs from particular non-events in my life in the last few weeks. The Bird York song is from 'Crash' as most people know, and it reminds me of staying up to watch the Oscars (and the frankly ridiculous and appalling 'rendition' of 'In the Deep' at the ceremony. The Ivor Cutler song is my tribute to the great Scot who died earlier this month. What better way to pay tribute to the best part of 50 years of music and poetry than sticking an 8 second 'hilarious' novelty statement about breasts? Also, I'm offering my hand in marriage to anybody who owns a copy of 'Mary Wana' by The Nicotines on single.
