Great Idea and mix. Love track 29.
Maintaining your standards as ever, Luke. I know I'd love this. Is that the Ballroom at The Overllok Hotel?
Classy! Sticks out like a sore thumb amongst all those teenie bopper mixes.
Very classy indeed.
Great mix - and the photo fits the music perfectly.
Looks wonderful. Like the predominant dancy jazz/classical feel.
This is great. Any chance of uploading it as MP3s to YouSendIt.com?
This looks fantastic. Would like to hear it.
Very classy! (Moe always undershoots, ask his wife.)Your money's no good here Mr. Torrence...
This is just amazing stuff...love this...would love to hear it. Just, wow.
This looks absolutely beautiful, well done. I love all of it.
wow
heavy with mood

I'm awed!
Gorrrrgeous.
Perhaps one of the more melodic of Mr. Tom Waits's would be at home? 'Alice' or 'All the World Is Green'? Maybe 'Watch Her Disappear'...

You plow a different field than most, Luke but with incredibly beautiful results.
Looks absoluely wonderful Luke. And, yes, very classy. I look forward to the link..
I think Sammy's comment is understatement personified. It looks way off to the side of wonderful. For Lady Grinning Soul alone, I am hooked. This redefines intriguing. Let's all stand here patiently and await the promised "link"...tap tap tap...
Greatness! The Billie track is great and to to be able to wrench out a comment from Cruella demonstrates the quality of this mix.
I'm looking forward to giving this a listen.
looking very beautiful in my eyes and ears
Well I'm certainly interested in a mix with Portishead and Andre Previn! Thanx for the link.
This is as gorgeous as I imagined it, thanks for the d/l.
Looks wonderfully atmospheric. Really looking forward to hearing it.
I can't wait to listen, looks GREAT.
This would be my type ofdancefloor music. Great revisions.
Really nice! I can imagine the atmosphere of this by just looking at the playlist, and particularly like the Goldfrapp and Shostakovich (absolutely love that piece; thank you for including it!). Will have to go check it out properly now...
Luke, I'd like to request that you start posting (or reposting, as the case may be) a mix every week. I really do miss them. the opening 5 go together so well here. also loved the Bowie, Goldgrapp and Judy Garland (of course) picks. the Ray Noble/Al Bowley really does sound like it's wafting through the locked doors of a haunted ballroom. beautiful, beautiful.
Listening to this was very enjoyable. You really mixed it up. It provided a soundtrack for a story that played in my mind.
