How did you get that picture?? I thought I'd burned all of the negatives...I no longer have the purple wig, though...

Good stuff. I just heard a little of the new Heloise & The Savoir Faire album this week. Have never heard of Gina X Performance but that name sounds like it might go with the photo.

Used to do that Delta 5 song live. If they had heard us they'd have told us to mind our own business.

Looks like fun, from the Nina to the Marilyn and all points in between.

Great Nina Simone opener... and then Sonic Youth! Visage, etc. MM closer. Cool.

And what a fun listen it was. Great stuff. Strong opening 3, and while I knew 4&5 that particular Paradis song I did not - and I've fallen in love with it. Hadn't heard Tiny Meat in over a hundred years, and really enjoyed track 14. And Laurie Anderson is bonkers.
Fine mix - a definite keeper..

Fun is as good a reason as any. Like the Brian Auger track a lot. Ruby leading into it was a nice choice.

this was a whole new bag of tricks, Luke. Heloise & the Savoir Faire made everyone in the office take their pants off. also loved Delta 5, Belly (old favorite), Lerner and Loewe, Vanessa Paradis, Gina X Performance and that wonderful bit of Marilyn there at the end. but as usual, there wasn't a dim bulb in the bunch. ps. can I have a taste of your ice cream?
