i have all these other mix projects i had to put on hold to make this last night during some serious sleeplessness. the extension of winter has left me a little lost, so i got out of my cold bed way too late, opened a beer, put on my headphones and mixed this up. i feel a little less lost today, if a bit sleepy. need a new life, still, but maybe i will start with something smaller, like a new choice for lunch. a new season would go a long way right now, but maybe that means i need a new, warmer city? ack, who knows where all the angst comes from, all this general discontent. i am fairly pleased with this mix, although i feel like stealing the "ozona & sonora,""sonora & ozona" bookends from an e.p. to bookend my own tape is a bit of a cop out. i'll get over that though. as for the rest, i gotta just wait until spring.
