Dug out some old tapes, and I think this one was my very first mix tape. Can you guess the year?Feedback:
Hmmm...Prince's Hits was released on CD in 1993. Best Of Talking Heads CD was out in 2004/5 so I would have to guess this was compiled using vinyl or cassettes back in about 1986. Do I get a cookie??!! If so, make mine a thin mint!

Very close E Dank: Compiled using cassettes and some vinyl back in...early 1987. As a going-to-college gift, my dad gave me my first stereo with a record player and tape-to-tape decks. Just in time because freshman year was when I discovered mix tapes, although I'd always made lists of favorite songs. Thankfully, my hallmates helped expand my musical horizons beyond this first mix tape's sampling. But I still like this first one. I also found all the handwritten lists I made leading up to making it - how funny.
