Easter 06
Comment:
A for the hell of it collection of songs from 2006, I left off the stranger stuff that I've heard this year as I intend to assemble some of those at a later date. These are all catchy songs that I've been enjoying lately. There might just be a YSI link to the whole shebang if anybody cares to check it out just say the word. Happy Easter mixers.Feedback:
quite obviously you have been listening to some good stuff so far this year...
Catchy is good! New stuff to me. Link -> ed2345, si c'est possible?
New stuff to me, with the pretty obvious exception of 16, I know many bands here but no songs. Get that link up!
'06 is shaping up nicely, and although most of my favorite releases aren't on this particular mix (with the exception of a few), I imagine they might be found within your aforementioned 'stranger stuff' section. So for the time being I shall have to check these bands out!
A lot of great stuff already in 06 - and we're only into April. Many of my faves from this year aren't represented here, which makes me realize that this should be a pretty great year end best of list! That Essex Green has benn getting lots of play on my stereo.
I'm with Sammy, have only heard one of these cuts, need to rectify that.
Barry, link me up, baby! Looks mighty fine.
Tremendous--that Essex Green album is my favorite release from this year thus far and that's my favorite track on it.
Barry, I DL'd this a few weeks ago, but just got to listening to it - beaucoup times - this past weekend. It is fabulous; I am totally on this wavelength. My favorites: Great Salt Lake, Farmlife, Lice, and Kimya Dawson. Thanks much for putting together these 2006 gems, and for the link. Also, er, Happy Easter! Keep up the great mixes. -Ed.
